Eight & bob
Annicke 4 EDP 100ml
FRAGRANCE FAMILY
FLORAL, FRUITY

Each perfume in Albert's private collection was born from a memory of a place or of a person - transforming them into extraordinary fragrances to conserve them in time. In 1936, Albert Fouquet traveled to Megève - the luxurious ski resort town in eastern France, as he did every winter to spend his days skiing and his evening socialising. On this particular night, Fouquet attended a dinner at his friend Nicholas' château. At this gathering he met Annicke, a young Austrian woman with striking green eyes. Mesmerised by her, they spent the evening drawn to each other - chatting by the fireplace, dancing and drinking. As the evening came to a close and feeling the fluttering of love on this first night, Annicke and Fouquet promised to stay in contact.
As Annicke was to travel back to Austria and Fouquet to Paris, they promised to write to each other and meet again in a few months time. Their letters were filled with love, desire and dreams. Inspired by their planned meeting in Vienna, Albert created a fragrance to present to Annicke. She was amazed by the beauty of this perfume, and from then on Albert would present Annicke with a new perfume he had created on every meeting.
Annicke 4 is a bright and exquisite floral fragrance. Hints of fruity notes, with a beautifully rounded floral heart. Inspired by the Roseraie de Bagatelle in Paris where SAlbert and Annicke would sometimes meet. The famous rose garden with over 9500 varieties of roses. Annicke 4 is a sparkling, romantic rose fragrance with a fruity playfulness and a velvety woody-moss base.

HISTORY

PERFUMER
Albert Fouquet

The perfume with history - Eight and Bob was created by Albert Fouquet, the son of a French aristocrat. In a room on the upper floor of the family château, Fouquet created and perfected various essences for his own personal use aided by Philippe, the trusted family butler. At social events his fragrance was in high demand, however Fouquet continually rejected proposals to market his fragrance. His fragrances were for his own delight, his own creative fulfillment and very personal as they told the stories of his favourite people and places. This all changed however, one night in 1937 when Fouquet met a young John F Kennedy who fell in love with his fragrance and the rest, as they say is history...
