Founder Jean-Philippe’s  involvement in the cigar world meant that one day a perfume created around this theme would evolve. The inspiration was clear from the outset : cigars, cedar wood from cigar boxes, paired with Islay spirits and woody notes from the oak barrel.

Bois Sikar is a beguiling smoky tobacco scent with robust woody tonalities swirling against the heady vapours.  The unique, smoky, peaty character of Islay’s single malt spirit is simultaneously conjured to create the essence of Bois Sikar. These  addictive facets entwine with cedar leaf creating an intensely intoxicating fragrance.

Atelier Des Ors reinterprets the heritage of French Haute Parfumerie with a modern new line of five alluring and sophisticated fragrances all of which find their roots in craftsmanship and the arts of perfumery and gold gilding.

Perfume and gold have long fascinated ancient dynasties and contributed to their wealth and power. Just like gold, perfume—per fumum—was first associated with divinity.
